This Lowboy configuration is a refined version of our Competition Gym Boxing Ring and features a finished ring floor height of approximately 16 inches. The reduced elevation allows installation in rooms with lower ceilings while maintaining a full professional training experience. We recommend a ceiling height of 10 feet, although installations in 9 foot and even 8 foot environments are commonly achieved depending on lighting and overhead clearance.
Unlike lower grade alternatives, the Pro Rings and Cages Lowboy Boxing Ring includes three quarter inch heavy duty plywood flooring for superior durability, stability, and long term performance. This structural flooring system provides a solid training surface and eliminates the flex and moisture sensitivity often associated with OSB materials.
